hellllo. ahhh, what a day. I slept over at priscilla's house last night and we had a great time! Liz, rachel, Vanessa, and Deborah were there too. A bunch of other people were there too, but they didn't stay over. Got to see Aaron again. yay! oh my gosh, you'll never believe what happened. i am such a dork. This morning, priscilla had to take vanessa to school and liz went too. when she was gone rachel and deborah left so i was the only one at p's house. so, i'm laying on her family room floor, watching a movie, and i cough or something. My gum flies right out of my mouth. i go to pick it up, but on the way back to my mouth, i accidentally stick it right onto the side of my head. ugh. sooo, i waited patiently for priscilla to get back, and when she did, we promptly went to her dad to see if he knew how to get gum out of hair. By this time my hair had basically encompassed the gum and was tangling pretty bad. Priscilla and I had heard a while ago that you are supposed to use peanutbutter to get gum out of your hair, but we asked her dad and he said to just cut it out. i freaked out cuz the gum was like right in the front of my head, so cutting it out would leave long term effects that were slightly more than visible. well, we decided to give the whole peanutbutter thing a try. Of course, just my luck, all the liu's had was crunchy peanutbutter. So, we went up to her bathroom and i leaned over the sink and priscilla starts globbing huse handfuls of peanutbutter on my hair. of course, the peanuts are falling out all over the floor, and prisclla's getting hungry, so she's like, eating the peanut chunks out of the stuff while she's putting it on. well, surprisingly enough, the peanutbutter worked a little bit. I still had it pretty bad though, so we switched to oil. so, after about twenty minutes, i've got peanutbutter, mint gum, oil, shampoo, leave in conditioner and peanuts in my poor hair. the gum still wasn't out all the way, so we decide to comb it out. i think priscilla's comb is permanantly going to smell like peanuts and mints. well, after about half an hour altogether of struggling, she suggests just dry shampooing my whole head. so i'm sitting on the toilet with gum still in my hair, and she's washing it, without water. I still don't get that. i mean, whoever heard of washing hair without water? well, i think i gave her so much crap about it, she decided to use water after all. so, she's fills this little cup up with cold water and starts pouring it all over the top of my head. haha, it was so funny. wel, we finally got it to a point where it was washable, so i leaned over the tub and rinsed off my head and shampooed it and rinsed it off again for a looooong time. i thnk i fell in a few times, i was laughing too hard to really tell. oh boy. we had sooooo much fun though. and it makes for a really funny story that neither of us will ever forget...

went to ac moore today, spent an hour and a half looking for yarn. It was really fun. I ran into mrs. Arrick and said hi, and then I ran into Mrs. Long and we talked about knitting for a while. I got some really cool stuff. lots of hairy black yarn and some red sparkly yarn and some maroon yarn. It was fun to finally get away. ugh, been bored lately. anyway, hope you all had a good day. haha, two days ago the ensemble played for my school's banquet. it was pretty fun to get all spiffed up and all. afterwards we all went to baylor's house and made tacos and watched mystic river. it was reeeaaaally good. i loved it. it was sad though and had a kind of lame ending. it was funny. we were all in baylor's kitchen making tacos and rachel was supposed to HEAT UP the refried beans. well, she left them on a tad too long, and LIQUIFIED the refried beans. it was gross. so we took them outside so they could re-re-set. it didn't really work very well so we ended up kind of pouring them on the tacos. ahhh the trials of using a stove. oh well, the tacos were yummy anyway, so it was all good. ok, well, that's all i've got right now i might be back later i don't really know. God bless!

 ~Years~

Did I  really set myself up for it?
is that what people thought?
she had it coming all along
she deserved the stuff she got.

Maybe I did I still don’t know
but one thing’s set in stone.
it’s what I know I’ll be thinkin about
after long years have flown

Why does it always happen this way
who said I was the one
who had to take pain silently
pretending to have fun

each morning before I go downstairs
I look into my mirror
I hate myself for what I’ve done
and lost throughout the years

the person I used to see in there
just isn’t who I am
I wanna be the girl i was
who smiled as she ran

Why does it always happen this way
who said I was the one
who had to take pain silently
pretending to have fun

I used to be so innocent
I never thought id know
the day I’d find myself searching
for the heart I had long ago...

Why does it always happen this way
who said I was the one
who had to take pain silently
pretending to have fun

Why does it always happen this way
who said I was the one
who had to take pain silently
pretending to have fun
i 'll still take my hurt silently
when life has been and gone

so many weeks and months have passed
it’s been so very long.
So why do the tears still fill my eyes
as I write down this song...

Sometimes life hurts, that's a given. it's what you do when you have all the time in the world that will change what will happen when you don't. ~anon.
